08:00 — Start PRO WOMEN
The elite women open the day, taking on the full Gravel Desert challenge.

08:10 — Start PRO MEN + OPEN
All PRO MEN and OPEN category riders head into Los Monegros for the main event.

16:30 — Awards Ceremony
Celebration, recognition, and the spirit of Gravel Desert — join us for the official podium ceremony.

Gravel Desert is fast, demanding and exposed.

Expect:

  • Hardpack grave
  • Long straight sections with constant pedalling
  • Loose corners and dusty sectors
  • Strong winds depending on the day

Recommended setup:

  • Tires: 40–45 mm fast rolling gravel
  • Gearing: 1x or 2x gravel setup (wide range ideal for Santa Quiteria)
  • Hydration: extra bottles or hydration pack due to dryness
  • Sunglasses and sun protection seriously recommended

This is a route about rhythm, stamina and handling — a true desert flow.
